Payment Information
How do I advise Mercedes-Benz Financial if my banking information changes? Send a written request, along with a voided check reflecting the new bank information to our national Client Service Center, P.O. Box 685, Roanoke, TX 76262-0685. Or fax both items to 800-283-9632.
May I change the monthly due date on my account? Sure. Just sign and return a modification agreement along with the appropriate fee. Call our Client Service Center at 1-800-654-6222.
May I stop making automatic payments at any time? Of course. Just send a written notice to Mercedes-Benz Financial or call our national Client Service Center at 1-800-654-6222. The change will take effect within 10 business days after receipt. To be sure funds are not debited in error, please request cancellation of Auto Pay at least 10 days prior to paying off or trading in your vehicle.
Payment Estimators
Is the rate I enter in the finance estimator, the same rate I can expect at a Mercedes-Benz Dealer? The rates provided are for sample purposes only. You and your Mercedes-Benz Dealer will determine your actual rate.
Am I able to adjust the MSRP field before calculating a payment? To be consistent, all calculations use MSRP. The Build Your Own process within the Mercedes-Benz web site (MBUSA.com) allows you to adjust the MSRP by selecting your own vehicle colors and options.
How do I calculate a lease payment if I drive more than 15,000 miles per year? Mercedes-Benz Financial does offer high mileage leases. Your nearest Mercedes-Benz Dealer will be happy to assist you with a high mileage scenario.
Is a security deposit needed if I decide to lease a Mercedes-Benz? A security deposit is not required. However, Mercedes-Benz Financial does offer a Multiple Security Deposit program which allows you to lower your monthly payments by including up to 1 refundable security deposit in your lease (not available in all states).
Why is the payment quoted by the Mercedes-Benz Dealer different than the one quoted by the estimator? The estimator uses MSRP as the selling price and doesn't include taxes. The Mercedes-Benz Dealer may or may not sell the car for MSRP and may use a different rate. Payments quoted on the estimator are for sample purposes only.
How do the credit ratings differ? Use these guidelines to gauge your general credit worthiness:
EXCELLENT: Credit history reflects no past due payments. Low to moderate credit card debt. No derogatory credit history.
VERY GOOD: Credit history reflects few past due credit card payments and no past due installment payments within the last two years. Recent payment history reflects current obligations being paid as agreed. Moderate to high credit card debt. No recent derogatory credit history.

Registration and Tax
What fees or expenses am I responsible for through The First Class Lease? As a lessee, you are responsible for payment of license plate and registration fees, sales and personal property taxes, and parking tickets.
How do I renew my license plates? Renewal notices are usually mailed by each state's vehicle registration department, in this case Pennsylvania. If the Mercedes-Benz Financial address is listed on your current registration, we will forward it to you as soon as we receive it from your state. Otherwise, you'll receive your registration renewal notice directly from the state. If you don't receive a renewal notice at least 30 days before expiration, please contact your State Department of Motor Vehicles.
What happens if I move/change my address? If you need to update your Billing and/or Garaging Address, you can do so online at Mercedes-BenzFinancial.com by selecting "Update Personal Info" while you are logged in to "Manage Your Account". Changes to your Garaging Address (this pertains to lease accounts only) may result in a tax increase or decrease on your account. For more information on the tax impact of changing your Garaging Address, please contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). For assistance in locating the DMV for your state, you may visit www.onlinedmv.com.
How do I re-register my automobile if I move to another state? Mercedes-Benz Financial will provide you the documentation for registration in your new state. Just give us your new address using one of the following two options: - Call the Client Service Center at 1-800-654-6222. - Include your new address on the Invoice Remittance form when you send your monthly payment.
What about taxes? Generally, all taxes on the leased vehicle are your responsibility. For more information, review your copy of the lease agreement, or call the Client Service Center at 1-800-654-6222.
What if I get a parking ticket? Please pay the fine immediately. Any unpaid tickets will be forwarded to us and if we pay them for you, we will include the fine, plus penalties and fees, on your monthly billing statement. Some states require us to forward your name and address to the municipality issuing the ticket.
Are there any travel restrictions? Leased vehicles may not be taken out of the United States. However, limited vacation arrangements may be provided. Please call 1-800-654-6222.

Insurance
As part of The First Class Lease, what is the relationship between Mercedes-Benz Financial and my insurance company? Depending on when your lease originated, DCFS USA LLC or the DCFS Trust must be listed on your comprehensive and collision coverage as the "loss payee" and as "additional insured" for liability coverage. Please check your contract for the appropriate loss payee name. Please have your insurance agent send complete documentation of all policies, renewals or cancellations to:
Mercedes-Benz Financial Insurance Services Department P.O. Box 1800 Roanoke, TX 76262-1800
What kind of coverage am I required to have? Your First Class Lease agreement requires you to maintain the following minimum insurance coverages: - Bodily injury liability not less that $100,000 per person and $300,000 per occurrence. - Property damage liability not less that $50,000 per occurrence - Comprehensive and collision coverage for the actual cash value of the vehicle. - $2,500 maximum allowed deductible.
What should I do if my car is stolen or involved in an accident? All thefts must be reported to your insurance carrier and to the Client Service Center at 1-866-321-8351. An authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealer should repair damages. Substandard repairs could cause charges at the end of your lease.
How should I handle insurance checks for losses and repairs? Because DCFS USA LLC or the DCFS Trust is listed as the loss payee, insurance checks for repairs should be issued jointly to DCFS USA LLC or the DCFS Trust and you. To speed up the release of your vehicle from the body shop, promptly send joint-payee checks, before you endorse them, to the address below. This is the only address that is authorized to endorse these checks. Insurance checks over certain amounts may require the physical inspection of repairs before Mercedes-Benz Financial can endorse the check. Please enclose the name and telephone number of the body shop and note your account number on the check. Send to:
Mercedes-Benz Financial Insurance Specialist P.O. Box 685 Roanoke, TX 76262-0685
What if my leased vehicle is declared a total loss? In the event of a total loss of your vehicle due to an accident or theft, The First Class Lease includes a GAP waiver, which covers the difference between the actual cash value of the vehicle paid by your insurance company and the net outstanding balance owed to Mercedes-Benz Financial. Your insurance and monthly lease payments must be current up to the time we receive the insurance proceeds from your insurance company. You must also pay Mercedes-Benz Financial an amount equal to your policy's deductible.
Who may drive my car? Only those individuals listed as lessee or co-lessee on The First Class Lease® agreement and those who are insured under your current policy and have a valid driver's license may drive your leased Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
What if I change insurance companies? If you're renewing, canceling or changing carriers, have your agent send a copy of your new policy or binder to Mercedes-Benz Financial immediately at the address below. The "loss payee" and "additional insured" names should remain the same. Cancellation notices must be received by Mercedes-Benz Financial within 30 days of the effective date. Send to:
Mercedes-Benz Financial Insurance Services Department P.O. Box 1800 Roanoke, TX 76262-1800
Vehicle Care
What are my responsibilities for the repair and maintenance of my Mercedes-Benz vehicle? The terms of your First Class Lease require you to have your vehicle serviced as recommended by the manufacturer and have all necessary repairs made. Refer to your Owner's Manual for specific maintenance policies and schedules.
What is considered excess wear and use? The standard for excess wear and use is set forth in your lease. Mercedes-Benz Financial's unique Three-Point Inspection process helps you understand how many of the important components of excess wear and use are assessed to determine the condition of your vehicle. The Three-Point Inspection is: The Credit Card Test: Generally, if exterior and interior damage cannot be seen when placing a credit card over it, then it "passes the test" and you will not be charged.* Windshield, Lights, Wheels and Tires: A quick visual check of these areas can also help take the guesswork out of the damage assessment process. Missing Items: Check for the original equipment and verify that scheduled maintenance is up to date. * The Credit Card Test does not apply to windshields, lights, wheels, tires, exterior cracks, gouges, collective damage or holes in the sheet metal or frame, or other major damage outside of ordinary wear and use.
Your First Class Finish Lease-end package contains complete guidelines for chargeable damage.
Contact your Mercedes-Benz dealer to schedule an optional Vehicle Condition Review to prepare for your lease-end inspection.
What happens in case of inadequate or substandard repairs? You could be billed for repairs that don't meet the standards of the manufacturer. The best way to avoid this is to have your vehicle serviced by an authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealer. To find the one nearest you, call 1-800-FOR MERCEDES (1-800-367-6372) or visit MBUSA.com. Please refer to your First Class Lease agreement for specific details.
